Falcons Reveal 2026 Schedule

The Atlanta Falcons officially know the road ahead.

The National Football League released the full 2026 regular season schedule on Thursday, with Atlanta opening the year on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 13 at Acrisure Stadium. It marks the first time since 2019 that the Falcons will begin a season away from home.

Atlanta’s 2026 campaign features three primetime matchups, a historic international appearance in Madrid, and several heavyweight showdowns that could shape the NFC playoff picture.

The Falcons will face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football in Week 3 before traveling to take on division rival New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football in Week 4. Atlanta then returns home for a marquee Sunday Night Football matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Of course, one of the biggest highlights of the season comes in Week 9 when the Falcons travel overseas to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Madrid, Spain, as part of the NFL International Games. The game at the iconic Bernabéu Stadium will air nationally on NFL Network and gives Atlanta another opportunity to showcase the franchise on the global stage.

The schedule also brings plenty of challenges.

Atlanta will face playoff-caliber opponents throughout the year including the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Ravens and Bengals. The Falcons also close the season with important NFC South battles against Tampa Bay, New Orleans and Carolina that could carry postseason implications.

For the sixth consecutive season, WAGA-TV (FOX 5 Atlanta) will serve as the Falcons’ official television broadcast partner. FOX 5 will air a minimum of eight regular season games along with all three preseason contests. Sports Radio 92.9 The Game returns as the team’s radio broadcast partner for the 2026 season.

The NFL also announced flexible scheduling procedures will once again be in place late in the season, meaning several kickoff times and national television assignments could change depending on playoff races and league storylines.
