The Hawks cruised to a 127–112 victory over the Orlando Magic Tuesday night at State Farm Arena.

Atlanta came out firing, building an early lead behind rookie Zaccharie Risacher, who set the tone with 11 first-quarter points and finished with 21 for the game. Dyson Daniels delivered one of his best performances of the season—efficient and composed—scoring 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting while adding six rebounds and six assists.
The Hawks led 64–47 at halftime and never looked back, extending their advantage to as many as 25 in the third quarter. Even as Orlando found some late rhythm, Atlanta’s balanced offense proved too much to overcome.
Kristaps Porziņģis anchored the interior, going a perfect 11-for-13 from the free-throw line en route to 15 points and two blocks. Jalen Johnson continued his all-around impact with 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 20 points, hitting 3-of-5 from deep.
Off the bench, Onyeka Okongwu provided energy and toughness with 14 points and seven rebounds. Vit Krejčí and Luke Kennard also contributed timely scoring, keeping the offense flowing whenever starters rested.
As a team, the Hawks shot 55.6% from the field and 43% from three, while holding Orlando to 43% shooting overall. Atlanta’s ball movement and discipline stood out—they recorded 23 assists and converted 24 points off 19 Magic turnovers.
Orlando was led by Paolo Banchero’s 22 points and 11 rebounds, while rookie Tristan da Silva impressed with 20 points off the bench. Frustration hit the Magic midway through the third quarter when Desmond Bane was ejected following a flagrant foul and technical, swinging momentum further in Atlanta’s favor.
With this win, Atlanta sets the tone for its Emirates NBA Cup campaign and continues to build early-season momentum. The Hawks will stay at home for the next two games, hosting Toronto on Friday and the Lakers on Saturday, before heading out on the road to face the Clippers.
