Hawks Cruise to 126-110 Win Over Warriors

The Atlanta Hawks continue to build momentum at the right time—and they made another statement Saturday night.

Atlanta rolled past the Golden State Warriors, 126-110, at State Farm Arena, extending its dominance in this matchup with a seventh straight home win over Golden State. It wasn’t just a win—it was control, pace, and execution from start to finish.

The Hawks shot an efficient 53.9% from the field, marking their 23rd game this season hitting the 50% mark or better. When Atlanta is clicking offensively like that, it’s tough to slow them down—and that efficiency showed in every quarter, especially a decisive third.

Defense told the story too.

Atlanta racked up 10 steals on the night, continuing a trend that has defined this group. It marked their 35th game this season with double-digit steals—second-most in the Eastern Conference—and pushed them to 25-10 in games where they hit that mark. Active hands, turning defense into offense—that’s been the identity.

And right in the middle of it all was Dyson Daniels.

Daniels delivered one of his most complete performances of the season, finishing with 28 points on 12-of-17 shooting, along with seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in just 32 minutes. He set the tone early, pouring in 15 points in the opening quarter alone—his highest-scoring quarter of his career. From there, he never really let up.

Defensively, he continues to be a problem. Daniels recorded his 38th career game with at least four steals—and notably, 33 of those have come since arriving in Atlanta. His four steals on the night also gave him 44 multi-steal games this season, the most in the league.

That impact showed in the plus/minus column too—he finished a +35.

Atlanta also got a big lift from Mouhamed Gueye, who was nearly flawless. Gueye posted 16 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting, including four makes from beyond the arc, while adding 10 rebounds and three blocks. It marked his third double-double of the season and another sign of his growing presence on both ends.

Meanwhile, Nickeil Alexander-Walker continues to deliver consistency night after night. He finished with 17 points, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line. More importantly, it marked his 40th straight game scoring in double figures—a career-best stretch—and his 66th such game this season, tied for third-most in the league.

He’s also been lights out at the line, shooting nearly 90% this season, and over his last 10 games, he’s averaging 23.0 points while shooting over 54% from the field and nearly 50% from deep. Quietly, he’s become one of the most reliable pieces in Atlanta’s rotation.

Veteran leadership came from CJ McCollum, who added 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting along with five assists. His third quarter stood out—15 points on 7-of-8 shooting—helping fuel the Hawks’ 39-point period that ultimately broke the game open.

Off the bench, Zaccharie Risacher chipped in 17 points on an efficient 5-of-6 shooting, continuing his strong rookie campaign with his 28th double-digit scoring game of the season.

Atlanta turned a tight first half into a runaway in the third, outscoring Golden State 39-20 in the quarter. That stretch flipped the game completely, pushing the lead past 20 and giving the Hawks full control heading into the fourth.

For Golden State, De’Anthony Melton led the way with 20 points, while Nate Williams added 19 on an efficient shooting night, but the Warriors couldn’t match Atlanta’s depth or defensive pressure.

Now sitting at 39-32, the Hawks are finding their rhythm in March, going 9-1 this month. More importantly, they’re stacking wins in a way that feels sustainable—defense creating offense, balanced scoring, and multiple players stepping up.
