The Atlanta Falcons specialists celebrated the spirit of giving this holiday season by hosting a heartfelt Thanksgiving dinner at My Sister’s House, a shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness, on Monday, Nov. 25. Falcons players Bradley Pinion, Younghoe Koo, Avery Williams, and Liam McCullough led the evening’s efforts, joined by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and team mascot Freddie Falcon, creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere for the attendees.
A Night of Gratitude, Giving, and Community
The evening was filled with warm meals, laughter, and meaningful connections as the Falcons players and staff served dinner and spent time engaging with the women and children at the shelter.
Adding to the excitement, the players hosted a raffle where the women had the opportunity to win free Falcons merchandise, bringing smiles and a sense of joy to the evening.
“My Sister’s House” offers more than just a place to sleep—it provides a safe, nurturing environment where women and children can recover from past hardships and work toward a brighter future. Through personalized care, the shelter helps its residents address their spiritual, emotional, physical, and vocational needs, empowering them to rebuild their lives with confidence and hope.
A Holistic Approach to Healing and Growth
The Atlanta Mission, which operates My Sister’s House, uses an interdisciplinary team to provide tailored services in five key areas: physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and vocational. Each client follows a personalized service program designed to address their unique circumstances. These services aim to help women and children become rooted in their communities, gain sustainable employment, and achieve housing stability.
Falcons’ Commitment to the Community
The Atlanta Falcons pride themselves on representing the city of Atlanta with integrity, brotherhood, and a commitment to giving back. Events like this Thanksgiving dinner embody the organization’s core values of teamwork, community, and purpose. By bringing joy to families in need, the Falcons continue to build meaningful connections off the field while honoring their mission to support the city they call home.
A Legacy of Giving
As the Falcons players served meals, hosted the raffle, and shared conversations, they demonstrated that their impact extends far beyond the gridiron. This Thanksgiving dinner was more than an act of service; it was a symbol of hope and resilience for the women and children of My Sister’s House.
Through events like these, the Falcons continue to demonstrate their commitment to fostering unity, uplifting communities, and embracing the values of compassion and generosity.
