Gladiators Sign Anthony and Joey Cipollone for 2026-27 Season

DULUTH, Ga. — The Atlanta Gladiators are adding some brotherly firepower to the roster for the upcoming season.

The Gladiators, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Nashville Predators and AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced Thursday via the team’s YouTube channel that forwards Anthony Cipollone and Joey Cipollone have signed with the club for the 2026-27 season.

For Anthony Cipollone, the signing marks the beginning of his professional hockey career following four seasons at Quinnipiac University.

The 24-year-old forward recorded 11 goals and 17 assists for 28 points across 122 collegiate games from 2022-26. During his senior campaign, Cipollone finished with three goals and seven assists for 10 points while posting a +8 rating in 34 games.

But one of the biggest moments of his collegiate career came early.

As a freshman in 2023, Cipollone helped Quinnipiac capture the program’s first NCAA National Championship, becoming part of one of the most memorable teams in Bobcats hockey history.

The Purchase, New York native also brings championship experience from his junior hockey days.

Before arriving at Quinnipiac, the 5-foot-6, 170-pound forward spent two seasons with the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Cipollone totaled 52 points in 75 games, scoring 18 goals and adding 34 assists. He also helped the Bandits win the AJHL championship in 2022.

Now, Cipollone will look to carry that winning pedigree into the professional ranks as he begins the next chapter of his career in Atlanta.

And he won’t be making the move alone.

The Gladiators also announced the signing of fellow forward Joey Cipollone, giving Atlanta a pair of Cipollones as the organization continues building its roster for the 2026-27 campaign.

The additions give the Gladiators two more pieces heading into the new season as Atlanta looks to make some noise in the ECHL.
