As Atlanta United prepares for its road opener against FC Cincinnati on Saturday, the club released its latest availability report — and there are some notable absences heading into kickoff at TQL Stadium.
The biggest update involves midfielder Will Reilly, who is expected to miss approximately three to four weeks after suffering a hamstring strain. The club indicated that his exact return timeline will depend on how his rehabilitation progresses, but for now, Atlanta will need to adjust without one of its midfield options during a crucial early stretch of the season.
Reilly joins two other players already ruled out for the match. Defender Dominik Chong Qui remains sidelined with a knee injury, while midfielder Jay Fortune will miss time due to a foot issue. With three players unavailable, squad depth will immediately be tested — particularly in the midfield, where rotation and energy are essential in a demanding road environment.
Early-season injuries are never ideal, but they also create opportunities. Atlanta’s revamped roster means younger players and new additions could see meaningful minutes sooner than expected as the team looks to start the campaign on a strong note.
Kickoff is set for 4:45 p.m. ET, with national television coverage and radio broadcasts bringing the action to fans across the region.
