Falcons, Jets Announce Inactives and Roster Moves Ahead of Week 13 Matchup

As the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets prepare to face off in Week 13, both teams released their official inactive lists along with important roster adjustments. The moves come ahead of a pivotal Friday matchup in New York, where Atlanta looks to keep momentum rolling after last week’s 24–10 win over the Saints.

The Falcons will be without several key receivers and depth pieces on defense. Wideouts KhaDarel Hodge, Drake London, and Casey Washington are inactive, leaving Atlanta thin at the position. Linebacker Josh Woods, offensive lineman Michael Jerrell, and defensive lineman Elijah Garcia are also sidelined. With London and Hodge out, Atlanta made several roster changes to reinforce the offense, signing Dylan Drummond to the active roster from the practice squad and elevating Deven Thompkins to provide additional depth. Edge rusher Khalid Kareem was removed from the active roster and re-signed to the practice squad.

The Jets will also be without important contributors. Cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr., running back Khalil Herbert, edge rusher Braiden McGregor, and defensive linemen Mazi Smith and Tyler Baron are inactive, along with receiver Arian Smith and tight end Jelani Woods. To counter their losses, New York elevated cornerback Jordan Clark and defensive lineman Eric Watts from the practice squad. The Jets also placed offensive lineman Leander Wiegand on the practice squad reserve/injured list and signed defensive end Paschal Ekeji to the practice squad.

With both teams adjusting their rosters and depth charts, the Falcons and Jets now turn their attention to today’s 1:00 p.m. EST kickoff in New York, where Atlanta aims to keep its road momentum rolling and close out November on a high note.
