The Atlanta Hawks opened their four-game road trip on a high note Monday night, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 105-102 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
After falling behind by as many as 17 points early, the Hawks clawed their way back with a strong second-quarter push to tie the game at halftime. Atlanta’s resilience carried through the final minutes, capped by Vit Krejci’s clutch three-pointer with 36 seconds remaining to seal the win.
Krejci delivered the best performance of his young career, scoring a career-high 28 points and knocking down a career-best eight three-pointers. Kristaps Porzingis added 20 points, while Jalen Johnson notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Hawks earned their sixth win of the season.
Despite a triple-double effort from James Harden — 35 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds — the Clippers dropped their fifth straight game.
The Hawks continue to navigate life without Trae Young, who remains sidelined with a sprained MCL in his right knee suffered during the Nov. 1 matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Young is expected to be re-evaluated in about four weeks, with no firm return date set.
Atlanta continues its West Coast swing tomorrow night against the Sacramento Kings, followed by stops in Utah (Nov. 13) and Phoenix (Nov. 16) before returning home to host the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, Nov. 18 — a night that will feature the debut of the Hawks’ 2025–26 Peachtree City Edition uniforms and a special halftime performance by YFN Lucci.
