The Atlanta Gladiators, proud affiliate of the Nashville Predators (NHL) and Milwaukee Admirals (AHL), announced Sunday that goaltender Ethan Haider has been recalled from loan by Milwaukee.
Haider, 24, heads back to the Admirals after another strong performance between the pipes, stopping 30 of 31 shots in Atlanta’s thrilling 2–1 overtime win over the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Saturday night. The Maple Grove, Minnesota native has been outstanding to start the season, posting a 4–1 record, a 2.17 goals-against average, and a .932 save percentage in five appearances since being assigned to Atlanta during training camp.
On Monday, the Gladiators also announced the signing of goaltender Logan Stein to a Standard Player Contract.
Stein, a Suwanee, Georgia native, joins the Gladiators after spending four seasons at Ferris State University and one at the University of Michigan. The 24-year-old, 6’2”, 210-pound goaltender went 11–9–2 with a 3.22 GAA, .893 save percentage, and one shutout last season with the Wolverines. Over his collegiate career, Stein compiled a 21–43–6 record with a 3.41 GAA, .892 save percentage, and one shutout. Stein also participated in training camp with the Gladiators earlier this fall on a tryout agreement.
The Gladiators continue their four-game road trip on Friday night in Charleston, taking on the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m.
