Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Month for September, the NFL announced today.
Through the first four weeks of the season, Robinson has been nothing short of electric, carrying the ball 64 times for 314 yards and a touchdown while adding 18 receptions for 270 yards and another score. His 584 total yards from scrimmage not only lead the NFL but also rank as the second-highest total through four games in Falcons history, just behind William Andrews’ 590 in 1983. Robinson is the only player in the league to rank inside the top 20 in both rushing and receiving yards.
Robinson’s dominance was on full display in Week 4 against the Commanders, where he set career highs with 196 receiving yards and 181 total yards from scrimmage. His 181 yards marked his 10th consecutive game with at least 90 scrimmage yards—the longest active streak in the NFL. He also notched his 22nd career game with at least 100 yards from scrimmage, the most by any player since he entered the league in 2023.
On top of that, Robinson continues to rewrite what it means to be a modern running back. He is the only back in the NFL with multiple 100-yard receiving games since 2023, doing it three times—including twice this September alone.
This is Robinson’s first career Player of the Month honor, and he becomes the first Falcon to earn the award since kicker Younghoe Koo, who won in December 2023 and January 2024.
Robinson’s hot start has been a driving force behind Atlanta’s early success, and with the way he’s playing, it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon.
