DULUTH, Ga. — The Atlanta Gladiators announced Monday that five players from their roster will join the Milwaukee Admirals for training camp, while four others have been invited to Atlanta’s own camp on tryout agreements.
Forwards Louis Boudon, Joey Cipollone, and Isak Walther, along with defensemen Ryan Conroy and Brendan Less, have been named to Milwaukee’s training camp roster.
- Boudon is no stranger to the AHL, having skated in 14 games with the Laval Rocket and Iowa Wild, notching one goal and one assist. Last season, the French forward played overseas with the Nybro Vikings of Sweden’s HockeyAllsvenskan, where he tallied 9 goals and 12 assists for 21 points in 47 games.
- Cipollone is coming off a breakout year in Atlanta, posting 15 goals and 19 assists for 34 points in 68 games. His 15 goals ranked second on the team, trailing only Cody Sylvester’s 24.
- Walther, a sixth-round pick of the Nashville Predators in 2019, heads to Admirals camp after completing his senior year at the University of Vermont. The Swedish forward recorded 6 goals and 11 assists for 17 points in 33 games with the Catamounts, finishing his collegiate career with 56 points across 128 games.
- Conroy, acquired by Atlanta earlier this summer from Adirondack, is coming off his first full professional season where he produced 29 points (8g, 21a) in 71 games. His 29 points led all Thunder defensemen and ranked third overall on the team.
- Less, also added from Adirondack in the offseason, logged 1 goal and 19 assists with a +11 rating in 51 games. He also made his AHL debut last season with the Syracuse Crunch.
Ahead of Atlanta’s training camp, which opens October 4, the Gladiators announced four players have been invited on tryout agreements: goaltenders Logan Stein and Luke Lush, defenseman Amedeo Mastrangeli, and forward Shawn Kennedy.
- Stein, a Suwanee, Ga., native, joins camp after five years in NCAA Division I hockey—four with Ferris State and one with the University of Michigan. The 24-year-old posted an 11-9-2 record with a 3.22 GAA, .893 save percentage, and one shutout with the Wolverines last season.
- Lush, 27, appeared in six games with the Tulsa Oilers last season, recording a 3.07 GAA and .881 save percentage. Prior to turning pro, the 6-foot-3 netminder played five years of NCAA hockey split between Sacred Heart and RIT, finishing with a 2.67 GAA, .902 save percentage, and two shutouts in 53 career games.
- Kennedy, 26, saw action in one game with Tulsa after a standout career at Elmira College (NCAA DIII), where he led the Soaring Eagles with 39 points as a senior. He closed his college career with 99 points (45g, 54a) in 88 games.
- Mastrangeli rounds out the invite list as a defenseman looking to make his mark in camp.
With training camp opening this week and the 2025-26 season fast approaching, the Gladiators are gearing up for an exciting year.
