What a game, what a game! The Atlanta Dream defeated the defending champions, Minnesota Lynx in a 76-74 ending on Tuesday night.
Angel Mccoughtry gave us nothing but net to secure the lead at 1.5 seconds left in the fourth quarter, with an assist by Tiffany Hayes. Angel ended the game with 18 points, Tiffany Hayes ended with a whopping 20 points. Shoutout to Elizabeth Williams, who performed immaculately on defense against the massive Sylvia Fowles. Elizabeth ended with 8 points and 7 rebounds, so did Jessica Breland. Maya Moore had 18 points and 7 rebounds to seal the deal, Sylvia had 13 points and 13 outstanding rebounds as well; talk about putting in work in the paint!
The Dream’s win on Tuesday moved them up to a 2-2 record for this 2018 WNBA season! Next up is a home game against the Phoenix Mercury! Will the Dream create another upset to show all the other teams that they are not to be underestimated?
