The Atlanta Vibe will be well represented on the league’s biggest stage.
Outside hitter Leah Edmond and opposite hitter Aiko Jones were named 2026 AdventHealth Major League Volleyball All-Star selections Tuesday, recognizing the impact both have made this season.
For Edmond, it’s another milestone in a career that continues to set the standard across the league. Already the first player in MLV history to reach 1,000 kills earlier this season, Edmond adds another accolade to a growing list that includes the league’s inaugural MVP award in 2024 and a first-team selection in 2025. This marks her second straight All-Star appearance.
“I’m honored to be selected,” Edmond said. “Having an All-Star game is one of the coolest things this league has done, and I’m excited for the opportunity to compete alongside the best.”
Edmond has once again been a force for Atlanta in 2026, ranking second in the league with 257 kills while contributing across the board with 171 digs, 25 blocks, nine assists, and eight service aces. Her all-around presence has anchored the Vibe through the season.
Jones, meanwhile, continues her breakout campaign. In just her second year in the league, she earns her first All-Star selection while establishing herself as one of Atlanta’s most dynamic players. The first Jamaican-born player in MLV has been a true two-way contributor, totaling 158 kills, 127 digs, 16 blocks, seven assists, and six aces.
“It’s an honor to be selected among such talented players,” Jones said. “I still have so much to learn, and I’m looking forward to being around greatness and continuing to grow.”
The 2026 AdventHealth MLV All-Star Match is set for Saturday, March 28 at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, with the match airing nationally at noon Eastern on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
Selections were determined through a combination of fan voting, player input, and league decisions, highlighting those who have made the biggest impact this season.
Beyond the recognition, the moment also reflects the continued growth of the league itself.
“From record-setting fan voting to the depth of talent on these rosters, All-Star Weekend shows the momentum behind Major League Volleyball,” Commissioner Jaime Weston said. “Fans will see the competitiveness and spirit that define this league.”
Before the All-Star spotlight, Atlanta turns its attention back to the court.
The Vibe return home to Gas South Arena on Thursday, March 19 for a matchup against the Orlando Valkyries. The meeting comes with built-in familiarity—Edmond previously played alongside Orlando middle blocker Kaz Brown at Kentucky, while Jones shares Louisville ties with Valkyries outside hitter Charitie Luper. Atlanta libero Elli McKissock also spent time with Orlando during the 2025 season.
With two All-Stars leading the way, the Vibe continue to build both momentum and identity as the season pushes forward.
