The Atlanta Gladiators announced Tuesday that Cody Sylvester has been named the team’s captain, while Andrew Jarvis and Louis Boudon will serve as alternate captains for the 2025-26 season.
Sylvester takes on the captaincy after serving as an alternate captain for the past three seasons. Entering his 13th year of professional hockey, Sylvester has been a cornerstone for the Gladiators since joining the team in 2021. Over that span, he’s led Atlanta in scoring with an impressive 101 goals and 121 assists for 222 points in 232 games. A proven leader on and off the ice, Sylvester previously wore an “A” with the South Carolina Stingrays in 2014 and captained the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL in 2012.
Defenseman Andrew Jarvis returns for his second season in Atlanta and fourth full professional campaign. The steady blueliner notched 6 goals and 7 assists in 59 games last season and has logged 160 ECHL games across stints with Atlanta, Allen, and Tulsa. Jarvis’ leadership pedigree runs deep—he served as an alternate captain at Carleton University and captained the Brockville Braves from 2016 to 2018.
Forward Louis Boudon joins the Gladiators’ leadership group in his first season with the team. The French forward spent the 2024-25 season in Sweden with the Nybro Vikings, where he tallied 9 goals and 12 assists in 47 games. Boudon has represented France on the international stage multiple times, serving as an alternate captain, and previously captained Lake Superior State University from 2021 to 2023.
Cody Sylvester and the Gladiators will lead the charge into the 2025-26 season opener this Saturday, October 18th, when Atlanta takes on the Utah Grizzlies.
