The Atlanta Hawks are bringing more than basketball to State Farm Arena this season.
The team has unveiled its promotional calendar for the 2026-27 NBA season, featuring 15 signature game-night experiences designed around Atlanta culture, community, entertainment and fan engagement. This year’s lineup includes returning favorites such as HBCU Night and the MLK Forever Game, along with two new additions — Single AF Night and 90s Night.
“At State Farm Arena, our goal is to deliver experiences and memorable moments that reach far beyond the hardwood,” said Melissa Proctor, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena. “Our 2026-27 promo calendar is a celebration of Atlanta, designed to amplify local culture, bring people together and honor the diverse communities that make this city great.”
The festivities begin with Opening Night presented by State Farm on Saturday, Oct. 24, when the Hawks host the Houston Rockets. Fans in attendance will receive a complimentary black T-shirt.
Atlanta will also host two Emirates NBA Cup games at State Farm Arena. The Hawks face the Washington Wizards on Friday, Nov. 6, before welcoming the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, Nov. 20.
Young Hawks fans will get their own spotlight with three Kids Games featuring early afternoon tipoffs and special giveaways. The first comes Nov. 22 against Detroit, when the first 2,000 kids receive Harry the Hawk slippers. A Feb. 7 matchup against Denver will feature Harry the Hawk beanies, while the March 13 game against Orlando will include drawstring bags for the first 2,000 kids.
Bobbleheads are also back.
The Hawks will feature four bobblehead nights during the season, beginning with Nickeil Alexander-Walker Bobblehead Night on Dec. 3 against Indiana. Onyeka Okongwu gets his night Dec. 31 against Milwaukee, followed by Jalen Johnson on Jan. 13 against Cleveland.
The series concludes March 3 against Chicago with a Ted Turner Bobblehead Night, honoring the late former Hawks governor and Turner Broadcasting System founder. The first 5,000 fans at each of the four games will receive the featured bobblehead while supplies last.
Atlanta will get into the holiday spirit Dec. 23 against Detroit with a special Holiday Game, featuring festive entertainment and an arena-wide beanie giveaway.
Then it’s time for something new.
Following the success of last season’s pregame mixer, Single AF Night makes its debut Jan. 7 when the Hawks host the Indiana Pacers. The night will combine Hawks basketball with special opportunities for singles to meet, mingle and connect.
The Hawks’ annual MLK Forever Game returns Jan. 18 against Philadelphia, honoring the life and legacy of Atlanta’s own Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
On Feb. 1, the Hawks will celebrate the start of Black History Month with their third annual Black Excellence Night against Washington. The evening will recognize Black visionaries and trailblazers while combining basketball, culture and community. Fans will also receive a special T-shirt.
Atlanta’s celebration of Historically Black Colleges and Universities returns Feb. 12 when the Hawks host Phoenix for the ninth annual HBCU Night. The event will highlight the history, traditions and contributions of more than 100 HBCUs.
The organization will recognize active-duty and retired military personnel during its 11th consecutive Crowning Courage Night on March 4 against Memphis.
Women’s History Month takes center stage March 11 when Atlanta hosts Brooklyn for Ladies Night, celebrating women making an impact throughout the city.
And then the Hawks are taking State Farm Arena back a few decades.
The all-new 90s Night arrives March 29 against Minnesota, celebrating the music, fashion, entertainment and cultural moments that defined the decade. The first 5,000 fans through the doors will also receive an exclusive giveaway.
The Hawks will close their regular-season home schedule April 9 against Boston with True to Atlanta Night, a celebration of the fans and culture surrounding the franchise. Special giveaways and in-arena activations will help turn the finale into one last salute to the city.
From bobbleheads and family afternoons to Black Excellence, HBCU culture, women’s history and a trip back to the ‘90s, the Hawks’ 2026-27 promotional calendar makes one thing clear: State Farm Arena plans to make the experience around the game just as memorable as the action on the court.
