Atlanta Hawks Announce 2026 Summer League Roster, Schedule for Salt Lake City and Las Vegas

 

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks are ready to get their first look at the franchise’s newest talent.

On Tuesday, the Hawks officially unveiled their 2026 Summer League roster and schedule, with the team set to compete in both the Salt Lake City Summer League and the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Leading the roster are the Hawks’ three selections from the 2026 NBA Draft: No. 8 overall pick Kingston Flemings, No. 23 pick Zuby Ejiofor, and No. 52 pick Henri Veesaar. They’ll be joined by second-year forward Asa Newell, giving fans an early glimpse at what could be part of Atlanta’s future core.

The Hawks also announced that assistant coaches Antonio Lang and Sanjay Lumpkin will split head coaching duties during Summer League play.

Lang, entering his fourth season with Atlanta, will coach the team during the Salt Lake City Summer League. It marks his second stint leading the Hawks’ Summer League squad after previously serving as head coach in 2023.

Lumpkin, also entering his fourth year with the organization, will make his Summer League head coaching debut in Las Vegas.

The 16-man roster features a mix of draft picks, second-year players and young talent looking to earn opportunities, including Cameron Corhen, RayJ Dennis, Keshon Gilbert, Kobe Johnson, Kobe Knox, Gabe Madsen, Zeke Mayo, Isaac McKneely, Eli Ndiaye, Jacob Toppin, and Isaiah Wong.

  • July 4: at Utah Jazz – 5:00 p.m. ET
  • July 6: vs. Oklahoma City Thunder – 7:00 p.m. ET
  • July 7: vs. Memphis Grizzlies – 7:00 p.m. ET

NBA Summer League (Las Vegas)

  • July 9: vs. San Antonio Spurs – 4:30 p.m. ET (ESPN2)
  • July 11: vs. Brooklyn Nets – 8:00 p.m. ET (ESPN)
  • July 13: vs. Boston Celtics – 6:00 p.m. ET (Prime)
  • July 16: vs. Memphis Grizzlies – 8:00 p.m. ET (Prime)

An additional game will be announced following the conclusion of the preliminary round.

Players to Watch

Summer League will provide Hawks fans with their first extended look at Kingston Flemings, the eighth overall pick in this year’s draft. Zuby Ejiofor will look to make an impact with his physical play in the frontcourt, while 7-foot center Henri Veesaar adds size, rim protection, and versatility to Atlanta’s young roster.

Second-year forward Asa Newell is also expected to be one of the team’s leaders after gaining valuable NBA experience during his rookie campaign.

With a blend of rookies, returning young players, and prospects competing for roster spots, the Hawks’ Summer League slate offers an exciting first look at the organization’s future as preparations begin for the 2026-27 NBA season.
