The Atlanta Falcons are headed overseas once again.
The NFL announced Tuesday that Atlanta will face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 8, at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain, as part of the 2026 NFL International Games.
Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET and the matchup will air on NFL Network.
The Week 9 showdown marks just the second regular-season NFL game ever played in Spain and continues Atlanta’s growing international presence, as the Falcons will now play their fourth international game in the last six seasons.
Falcons President and CEO Greg Beadles expressed excitement about the opportunity to play on one of the world’s biggest stages.
“We are truly honored and deeply grateful for the opportunity to host the Cincinnati Bengals at the Bernabéu, one of the world’s most iconic venues,” Beadles said. “This matchup represents a unique opportunity to connect with fans in Spain, and we sincerely appreciate the NFL’s continued commitment to growing the game on a global stage.”
With Atlanta set to play a major role during the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, the organization also sees the game as a chance to begin building stronger ties with sports fans internationally before the global spotlight shifts toward the city next summer.
“Our players are incredibly appreciative of the chance to compete in such a historic setting, and we are committed to delivering a game that reflects the Bernabéu’s rich tradition,” Beadles added. “We are grateful to the NFL for entrusting us with a role in the league’s international growth, and we look forward to creating an unforgettable experience for fans around the world.”
The full Falcons 2026 schedule will officially be released Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network and NFL.com.
