Glads Announce Playoff Roster Ahead of First-Round Showdown with Stingrays

The Atlanta Gladiators have officially set their playoff roster, locking in the group that will take the ice for their South Division Quarterfinal matchup against the South Carolina Stingrays in the 2026 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Returning to the postseason for the first time since 2022, Atlanta enters the playoffs with a balanced roster featuring a mix of veteran leadership, offensive depth and defensive stability.

The Gladiators will carry 16 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders on their initial roster.

Up front, the group is highlighted by captain Cody Sylvester alongside key contributors Joey Cipollone, Carson Denomie, Eric Neiley and Adam Eisele. The forward unit also includes Ryley Appelt, Brett Bulmer, Mickey Burns, Josh Davies, Kirklan Irey, Mike McNamee, Ryan Nolan, Jack O’Brien, Austin Roest, Isak Walther and Alex Young, giving Atlanta multiple scoring options and lineup flexibility.

On the blue line, Atlanta will rely on Dylan Carabia, Ryan Conroy, Cam Gaudette, Andrew Jarvis, Brendan Less, Chad Nychuk, Evan Orr and Nolan Orzeck to anchor the defense heading into the postseason.

In net, Ethan Haider and T.J. Semptimphelter are set to handle goaltending duties, providing a steady tandem as the Gladiators look to make a postseason run.

Atlanta also named Max Grondin, Jack Matier and Kalan Lind to its playoff eligible list. Those players are currently unavailable due to recall but could be added to the roster later in the playoffs if they return.

Per league rules, playoff rosters are capped at 25 players, consisting of a 20-man active roster and a five-man reserve list. Teams must carry at least 17 active skaters and two eligible goaltenders, while recalled players can be added later if they become available before the Kelly Cup Finals.

The Gladiators now turn their attention to a familiar postseason opponent in the Stingrays, marking another chapter in a long-standing playoff rivalry between the two teams.

Atlanta will host Games 3 and 4 of the series at Gas South Arena on April 27 and 28 at 7:10 p.m., as the team begins its pursuit of the franchise’s first Kelly Cup championship. Get your playoff tickets HERE .
