Yung Joc Set to Perform at Skyhawks Fan Appreciation Night

The College Park Skyhawks are bringing a hometown flavor to the end of the season.

The team announced that College Park native and Atlanta hip-hop artist Yung Joc will perform at halftime during the Skyhawks’ annual Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Aaron’s, on March 25 at Gateway Center Arena @ College Park. The performance will take place during the team’s 7 p.m. matchup against the Osceola Magic, which also marks the final home game of the Skyhawks’ 2026 schedule.

Yung Joc will take the court for a special halftime set, delivering a five-minute mix of some of his biggest hits for fans in attendance. The performance is meant to celebrate another season of Skyhawks basketball while highlighting one of Atlanta’s most recognizable hometown voices.

For many in the building, Joc represents more than just music — he’s part of the culture. The Grammy-nominated artist has been a staple in Atlanta’s hip-hop scene for nearly two decades, first rising to national prominence in 2006 with the hit single “It’s Goin’ Down” from his debut album New Joc City. He followed that success with tracks like “I Know U See It,” “Bottle Poppin’,” and his feature on T-Pain’s chart-topping “Buy U a Drank.”

“I’m honored and elated to be part of what the College Park Skyhawks are building for the city,” Joc said. “I helped tip off this season during schedule release, so being invited back to close it out at halftime means a lot. Atlanta continues to show love to me, and I’ll always show it right back to the city.”

Beyond the music, Joc has remained deeply connected to his hometown. Through his Southside Day initiative, he has helped distribute more than 2,000 laptops and tablets to students across Metro Atlanta. He also partners with Next Level Boys Academy through the Next Level Hustlenomics mentorship program, which focuses on leadership and workforce development for young men.

His work in the community hasn’t gone unnoticed. Yung Joc has received a Resolution from the State of Georgia and a City of Atlanta proclamation recognizing his cultural influence and community impact.

With the first-place Osceola Magic coming to town and a hometown legend set to perform at halftime, Fan Appreciation Night is shaping up to be a fitting way for the Skyhawks to close out the home portion of their season in College Park.
