As the Atlanta Falcons put the finishing touches on preparations for Sunday’s regular-season finale, the team made additional roster and availability updates ahead of the matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
The Falcons have elevated punter Trenton Gill to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday’s game as a standard practice squad elevation. Gill, a former seventh-round pick, provides depth and flexibility in the specialist group heading into the divisional contest.
Atlanta also added cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr., long snapper Liam McCullough and defensive lineman Ruke Orhorhoro to the game status report. All three are listed as questionable due to illness, a late-week development the team will continue to monitor leading up to kickoff.
In addition, safety DeMarcco Hellams and defensive lineman Sam Roberts have been downgraded to out after their designations on the game status report were updated.
With kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Falcons will look to navigate the final injury adjustments and finish the regular season strong at home against New Orleans.
