The Atlanta Falcons have elevated cornerback Keith Taylor and offensive lineman Joshua Gray to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts as standard practice squad elevations.
The Falcons are overseas this week, set to face the Colts in Berlin, Germany, on Sunday, November 9, as part of the NFL’s International Series.
Taylor, a former fifth-round selection by the Carolina Panthers in 2021, provides depth in the secondary for a Falcons defense looking to tighten up after back-to-back tough outings. The Washington product has appeared in 34 career games, including 10 starts, and brings valuable experience to Atlanta’s defensive backfield.
Gray, meanwhile, offers added support along the offensive line. The rookie out of South Carolina State impressed during training camp and preseason with his versatility and physicality, giving the Falcons flexibility up front.
At 3–5, Atlanta enters the Berlin matchup seeking to spark a midseason turnaround. The team has shown flashes of potential but knows consistency — particularly in protecting the quarterback and finishing drives — remains the key to righting the ship.
Friday’s practice report listed several key players at various levels of participation. Jessie Bates III (knee), Billy Bowman Jr. (hamstring), JD Bertrand (knee), Casey Washington (back), and Zach Harrison (knee) were all full participants. Limited participants included Mike Hughes (neck), DeMarcco Hellams (not injury related – other), James Pearce Jr. (not injury related – other), Chris Lindstrom (foot), and LaCale London (shoulder).
Leonard Floyd (hamstring), Matthew Bergeron (ankle), and Storm Norton (foot) did not participate in practice.
Game status designations for Sunday list Mike Hughes (neck), Chris Lindstrom (foot), and LaCale London (shoulder) as questionable. No players were listed as doubtful, while Floyd, Bergeron, and Norton have been ruled out.
Kickoff between the Falcons and Colts from Olympiastadion Berlin is set for 9:30 a.m. ET.
