Falcons Injury Report Ahead of Monday Night Football vs. Bills

The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up their final practice of the week on Saturday as they prepare to host the Buffalo Bills under the bright lights of Monday Night Football at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

A handful of key players were back in action, while others continue to work their way back to full strength.

Several familiar names were full participants in practice — including wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge (groin), cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. (hamstring), safety Xavier Watts (ankle), cornerback Natrone Brooks (concussion/shoulder), and rookie running back Nathan Carter (hamstring). All were upgraded and are expected to be ready to go on Monday night.

Meanwhile, cornerback Billy Bowman Jr. (knee/hamstring), linebacker Kaden Elliss, and veteran tackle Jake Matthews were all listed as limited. Both Elliss and Matthews were given rest days as part of standard veteran management, while Bowman continues to work through a lower-body issue.

The “Did Not Participate” list was a bit longer, headlined by wide receiver Darnell Mooney (hamstring) and cornerback Clark Phillips III (triceps/illness) — both of whom have been ruled out for Monday’s matchup. Defensive linemen LaCale London (triceps) and Ta’Quon Graham (calf) were also unable to go and will miss the game.

Veteran defenders Leonard Floyd, David Onyemata, and LaCale London were all given rest days as well — standard maintenance for seasoned players late in the week.

According to the official game report, Billy Bowman Jr. (knee/hamstring) and Natrone Brooks (concussion/shoulder) are both listed as questionable heading into Monday. No players were designated as doubtful.

Atlanta enters Monday night’s game at 3-1 and looking refreshed coming off their bye week. With several key defenders returning to full participation, the Falcons should be close to full strength as they face one of the league’s toughest tests in Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Kickoff is set for 7:15 PM at Mercedes-Benz Stadium — and the Dirty Birds will be ready.
