The Atlanta Falcons have added veteran depth to their secondary, signing safety Jordan Fuller to the active roster. In a corresponding move, the team placed rookie edge rusher Bralen Trice on the reserve/injured list.
Along with the roster adjustment, the Falcons announced two additions to the practice squad: offensive tackle Ryan Hayes (6-6, 303), a second-year lineman out of Michigan, and offensive tackle Carter Warren (6-5, 311), a third-year player from Pittsburgh.
Fuller, 26, brings significant experience and leadership to Atlanta’s defense. Originally selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round (199th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, Fuller has played in 57 games (55 starts) across five seasons with the Rams (2020-23) and Carolina Panthers (2024). He has totaled 231 tackles (201 solo), seven interceptions, 18 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, and two tackles for loss.
One of the highlights of Fuller’s career came in 2021, when he ranked seventh among all defensive backs in tackles (113) during the regular season and went on to record six tackles in the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Before his NFL career, the Old Tappan, N.J., native starred at Ohio State, where he played in 52 games over four seasons. He recorded 224 tackles (167 solo), five interceptions, 10 passes defensed, and three fumble recoveries. Off the field, Fuller was equally accomplished, earning recognition as an NFF Scholar-Athlete and being named an Academic All-American three times.
With Fuller joining the active roster, the Falcons bolster their defensive backfield while continuing to refine depth along the offensive line with Hayes and Warren added to the practice squad.
