The Atlanta Hawks will officially tip off the 2025-26 season at State Farm Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 22, hosting the Toronto Raptors at 7:30 p.m. for ‘Opening Night presented by State Farm’, the NBA announced today alongside the release of the Hawks’ full schedule, presented by Ticketmaster.
Atlanta will feature 13 nationally televised games, including three on ESPN/ESPN App, three on NBC/Peacock, four on Peacock, and three on NBA on Prime.
The Hawks start the season with two of their first three games at home—facing Toronto and defending NBA champion Oklahoma City—before beginning one of four season-long four-game road trips that take them to Chicago, Brooklyn, Indiana, and Cleveland.
Atlanta returns home for three games, highlighted by a Tuesday, Nov. 4 Southeast Division clash with Orlando (8 p.m., NBC/Peacock) and a Saturday, Nov. 8 showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers (8 p.m.). The Nov. 4 game marks the Hawks’ first NBC broadcast since a second-round playoff game at New York on May 23, 1999. From there, Atlanta heads out for a four-game West Coast swing against the LA Clippers, Sacramento, Utah, and Phoenix.
The Hawks’ Emirates NBA Cup Group Play games include: Friday, Oct. 31 at Indiana; Friday, Nov. 7 vs. Toronto; Tuesday, Nov. 25 at Washington; and Friday, Nov. 28 vs. Cleveland. The two home games will be celebrated as ‘Atlanta Hawks Cup Nights presented by Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos.’
December sees a heavy dose of home games, with eight of 12 contests at State Farm Arena, including a season-high tying five-game homestand. Notable matchups include the Denver Nuggets (Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m.), San Antonio Spurs (Dec. 19, 7:30 p.m.), New York Knicks (Dec. 27, 8 p.m.), and Minnesota Timberwolves (Dec. 31, 3 p.m.).
January is a road-heavy stretch, with 10 of 16 games away from Atlanta, highlighted by another four-game West Coast trip to Denver, Golden State, LA Lakers, and Portland. Atlanta will return home on MLK Day, Monday, Jan. 19, to host the Milwaukee Bucks (1 p.m., Peacock).
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game is set for Sunday, Feb. 15 at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome. After the break, the Hawks will play 10 of 12 games at home, including marquee matchups against Dallas (Mar. 10, 8 p.m., NBC/Peacock), Milwaukee (Mar. 14, 3 p.m., NBA on Prime), Orlando (Mar. 16, 7 p.m., Peacock/ESPN Radio), and Golden State (Mar. 21, 8 p.m.).
Atlanta closes the regular season with home games against the New York Knicks (Apr. 6, 7 p.m., Peacock) and Cleveland Cavaliers (Apr. 10, 7:30 p.m., NBA on Prime) before finishing on the road at Miami (Apr. 12, 6 p.m.).
The Hawks will play 13 back-to-back sets, including two home/home, one home/road, seven road/home, and three road/road. In regular-season play (excluding Emirates NBA Cup games), Atlanta will face every Western Conference team twice and Eastern Conference opponents four times, with slight variations for Chicago, Milwaukee, New York, Detroit, Indiana, and Philadelphia.
Broadcast coverage includes FanDuel Sports Network for local games, plus full coverage on Sports Radio 92-9 The Game and the Hawks Radio Network with Steve Holman and Mike Conti.
