ATLANTA UNITED UNVEILS EMORY HEALTHCARE STUDIO: A BOLD NEW ERA FOR CONTENT, COMMUNITY & CREATIVITY

Innovation meets storytelling at the intersection of sports and community health as Atlanta United officially unveils new renderings and plans for the Emory Healthcare Studio — a groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind content production facility in Major League Soccer. Slated to open later this summer, the studio is currently under construction at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground in Marietta and represents a key piece of the club’s $23 million expansion project.

More than just a studio, this initiative marks a strategic investment in digital content, fan engagement, and the creative future of Atlanta United.

Named through the club’s longtime partnership with Emory Healthcare, the official healthcare provider of Atlanta United, the new facility will feature two state-of-the-art digital content studios, a fully equipped podcast space, and a dedicated esports room — creating an immersive hub that redefines how sports content is produced and shared.

“As our club continues to grow, so has our approach to content, and the Emory Healthcare Studio allows us to meet the increasing demand of digital storytelling with a world-class facility,” said Skate Noftsinger, Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Atlanta United. “This studio reflects our long-term commitment to innovation and positions us to produce content that brings fans even closer to our players and our club, both on and off the pitch.”

Designed as the creative engine behind the club’s ever-expanding media ambitions, the Emory Healthcare Studio will serve multiple functions — from in-depth match analysis and cinematic interviews to live broadcasts, social content, and original branded storytelling. The main studio will support multi-camera productions and live feeds, while a second studio is designated for photography, media day shoots, and dynamic visual content. Upstairs, the podcast studio will deliver high-quality audio and video programming for fans and partners. A centralized control room will seamlessly connect all three studios — including the new press conference space — to create an efficient, flexible production ecosystem.

“The launch of the Emory Healthcare Studio marks a bold step in health care innovation – designed to foster creativity, share compelling stories, and deliver memorable experiences,” said Molly Biwer, Chief Marketing Officer at Emory Healthcare. “We’re proud to extend our relationship with Atlanta United as we work together to champion healthier lifestyles and strengthen community well-being.”

This project isn’t just about media—it’s about mission. It’s about storytelling that informs, entertains, and uplifts communities. It’s about bridging the gap between the pitch and the people. And it’s a testament to Atlanta United’s continued evolution not only as a soccer club but as a cultural institution rooted in excellence, access, and authenticity.

Part of a larger 20,000-square-foot expansion at the training ground, the new addition will grow the total facility footprint to 50,000 square feet — supporting First Team, ATL UTD 2, and Academy operations, while enhancing the club’s capacity to host top-tier international clubs and federations. The total investment now tops $85 million, solidifying the facility’s standing as one of North America’s most elite soccer training complexes.

As Atlanta United continues to evolve, the Emory Healthcare Studio represents not just the next step, but a leap forward — blending performance, production, and purpose under one roof.
