Atlanta Vibe secured their third-straight win and seventh overall this season. Led by Magdalena Jehlářová’s season-high seven blocks and Anna Lazareva’s fourth double-double, took down the Vegas in four intense sets.
Lazareva was everywhere on Saturday night, racking up her fourth double-double of the young season to lead the Vibe past the Vegas Vixens in four sets. After dropping the opening set 25-22, the Vibe stormed back to take the next three 25-19, 25-21, 25-20 in front of another packed house at Gas South Arena.
With the win, the Vibe remain in a tie for first place in the Pro Volleyball Federation with a win from the Omaha Supernovas on the same night. So get ready Sports Lovelies, for an epic showdown when the team head on the road this Thursday to face Omaha on March 14 before returning home to host the Orlando Valkyries on Thursday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Gas South Arena.
