Atlanta is set to face off against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, to tonight for its first-ever home Tournament Night contest, part of the league’s inaugural In-Season Tournament at State Farm Arena.
The Hawks and 76ers are both competing in East Group A, along with Indiana, Cleveland and Detroit.
Atlanta won their first Tournament Night contest on Tuesday, 11/14, against the Detroit Pistons, 126-120 . Dejounte Murray led the team in scoring 32 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and three steals in 37 minutes . Making Murray one of only two players in the NBA this season to tally at least 30/10/5 in a Tournament Night game (Tyrese Haliburton, 11/14) and the only player to have at least 30/10/5/3 in any game (Tournament Night or Non-Tournament Night).
Atlanta is coming off a 114-116 loss to the New York Knicks, on Wednesday Nov.15.
The Hawks bench scored a season-high 55 points, led by Bogdan Bogdanovic’s team-high 28 points .
