Coming off a 126-117 loss to OKC on Monday, Atlanta turned things around on Thursday when the team captured the 120-119 dub against Orlando in front of a sold-out crowd of nearly 20,000 fans at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
Trae Young led the team in scoring 41, Jalen Johnson added 19 points and nine rebounds and Bogdanovic finished with 15 points on 6-11 shooting.
The matchup marked the third time the Magic and Hawks have played out of market. In 1993, they played a pair of exhibition games in London
“We built for this. We love these moments. You can never count us out” said Johnson.
With the win Atlanta moved to 5-3.
Next up: Atlanta returns to action on Saturday to take on the Heat for the first City Edition night. Tip off at 7:30 PM.
