On Sunday the Falcons fell to the Commanders 19-13 in Washington.
“I’m disappointed to lose and especially when it happens like that. Our guys have always and it’s a resilient group and gotta give credit to Washington.” said Head coach Arthur Smith. “They made a play at the end. We had the look we wanted, a guy tipped the ball up and they caught it. Unfortunately, that’s the way it went and our guys understand that it’s always gonna sting but you get back tomorrow.”
Don’t fret sports lovelies the Falcons are still technically alive in the NFC South race but Sunday’s game is a must win for Atlanta to get back atop.
Marcus Mariota and the dirty birds (5-7) return to home turf in search of redemption when they face the Steelers (4-7).
The game is scheduled for Sunday. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. ET at the Mercedes Benz Stadium.
