In a corresponding move, the Falcons have released wide receiver Tyshaun James.

Additionally, the Falcons have placed cornerback Cornell Armstrong on the Reserve/Injured List.
The team have also reached an injury settlement and have waived defensive lineman Bryce Rodgers from the Reserve/Injured list.
Atlanta will open its season at home on Sept. 11 when it takes on New Orleans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
