This time around Atlanta’s offense wasn’t good enough and resulted in the loss.
In her first game returning from injury, Monique Billings led the team with 9 rebounds.
“My teammates were just very encouraging towards me, telling me to have grace with myself. So that helped me throughout the game.” said Billings.
Four Dream players scored in double-digits. Erica Wheeler led the team in scoring 16 points. Rhyne Howard put up 14 points. Cheyenne Parker added 13 while Aari McDonald rounded off the scoring effort with 10.
“I’m proud of the ladies, in this season.”said head coach Tanisha Wright I’m proud of the changes we made, proud of what we building here for sure.
Tanisha Wright has gotten this Dream team a lot farther than anyone ever expected. Word is that Coach T is one of the favorites to win Coach of the Year.
The Dream drops to number 10 in league standings with one lone game left in the regular season, we are keeping the dream alive and hopefully with a win Atlanta still have a chance of securing a playoff seat.
