Atlanta United fell to Inter Miami CF 2-1 Wednesday night in South Florida. Eric Remedi scored his first club goal in league play, and despite out-shooting Miami and controlling possession for most of the night, Atlanta was unable to find an equalizer.
Atlanta United announced today it has loaned forward JJ Williams to Birmingham Legion FC for the remainder of the 2020 season.
The 22-year-old forward was acquired by Atlanta on March 9 from Birmingham and made one appearance for Atlanta United and one start for Atlanta United 2.
Atlanta United (3-5-2, 11 points) returns to action Saturday, Sept. 12 against Nashville SC (8:00 p.m., FOX Sports Southeast, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, La Mejor).
