MLS Playoffs: Atlanta takes first leg vs New York of the Conference Finals

In their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance, Atlanta United defeated the New York Red Bulls 3-0 in the first leg of the Eastern Conference finals on Sunday at the Mercedes Benz Stadium.

In the first half, Josef Martinez broke records when he scored his 34th goal, the most ever in an MLS season and post season.

One step closer to advancing to the 2018 MLS Cup, Atlanta looks to finish the Red Bulls when they head to the second leg of the Conference Finals on Thursday at the Red Bull Arena at 7:30 pm ET.
