Atlanta – The Atlanta Dream will return to action Sunday afternoon when it hosts the Phoenix Mercury inside McCamish Pavilion beginning at 3 p.m. The game will be televised locally on FOX Sports Southeast.
The Dream (8-9) will look to quickly rebound from a 95-86 loss to Seattle Friday evening. Angel McCoughtry led Atlanta with 26 points and Tiffany Hayes added 23.
Phoenix (14-5), currently second in the overall WNBA standings, is coming in winners of four straight, including an 84-77 victory over Connecticut Thursday evening. Ageless Diana Taurasi is averaging a team-high 20.4 points a game for the Mercury.
