The 1995 World Series matched the Atlanta Braves against the Cleveland Indians. The Braves won in six games to capture their third World Series championship in franchise history (along with 1914 in Boston and 1957 in Milwaukee), making them the first team to win three crowns in three different cities. This was also Cleveland’s first Series appearance in 41 years and marked the resumption of the Fall Classic after the previous year’s Series was canceled due to a players’ strike.

To Golf or Not to Golf that is Tiger Woods question

Eight years has floated by since Tiger Woods last won one of the sport’s four majors, with victory in the 2008 US Open.

Plagued with injuries and a recent holted comeback due to his withdrawl from the Safeway Open.

On “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Woods said he would return in early December at the Hero World Challenge.

Stephen A. Smith thinks Tiger is too focused on his image not golf.

Australian legend Greg Norman told TMZ, “He’s too old to come back.”

Myself on the other hand, I love happy endings and I would love for  Woods to catch the eye of the Tiger and break Jack Nicholaus’ records of 18 major titles, which he has longed desired. When Tiger comes back in December; I predict we will all see a newly reinvigorated, and focused Tiger. Reminding us of his old dominant self.

D-Wade and Bron-Bron’s World Series Bet is officially on!

Cleveland’s native son LeBron James and Chicago native Dwyane Wade have placed a fashionably friendly wager on the World Series.

According to D-Wade’s video posted to Twitter to Lebron James,

“Who ever team loses the loser has to show up during the NBA season to the other guys home game dressed as the team who won.  Example, if the Chicago Cubs win in December when Cleveland come to Chicago. You have to show up, when you walk into the Arena dressed as a Chicago Cub and vice versa if the Cleveland Indians win in January when we come to town. I’ll walk in dressed just like a Cleveland Indian. I’ll have the hat on, the top and bottom socks all the way down to the sneaks. Alright so that’s the World Series Bet! Good Luck Homie!”

And of course, Lebron responded and accepted D-Wade’s bet via Twitter.

Who do you think will win this Bet?
