After falling to the Hornets 116-106 in Charlotte, the Hawks snapped Memphis’ four-game winning streak with a 105-120 victory on Friday night at State Farm Arena without Big Man John Collins, and Hawks star point guard Trae Young who was out with a left quad contusion.

Atlanta has now won 15 of its last 17 games played at State Farm Arena, which includes a season-high seven straight home victories.

In the first half the offense struggled, even with the movement of the ball picking up Memphis second-half comeback fell short after the team’s failed attempts to get stops.

Bogdan Bogdanovic led the team in scoring a season-high 30 points, 3 assists.

Former Grizzlies player Delon Wright finished with 18 points, six assists and five steals.

“I knew I was going to have some wide-open shots with the way they played. They load up in the paint, so I knew that if guys penetrate they’re going to find me.”
