Skyhawks Fall To Motor City Cruise 113-123

The College Park Skyhawks fell to Motor City Cruise 113-123 Tuesday night at Wayne State Fieldhouse. The loss concluded the Skyhawks two-game series with the Motor City Cruise.

The Skyhawks used defense to get back in the game after halftime. College Park cut the lead down to 7 late in the third quarter but Motor City gained the momentum back.

Motor City led by as much as 19. The Skyhawks were able to hold it within a 10-15 point margin, but ultimately there were too many trade buckets when College Park needed stops.

Cat Barber finished with 40 points, a season, and career-high. Barber’s 40 points set a new College Park Skyhawk record.

Justin Tillman handled business on the hardwood as well. Tillman finished with 30 points, making him the first player in Skyhawks history to record three consecutive games with 30 or more points, and the second G League player to do so this season.

The College Park Skyhawks return to Gateway Center Arena on Friday night to host NBA G League Ignite, the G League’s official development team, at 7 p.m. ET.
