With the win over the Magic, the Hawks’ have extended their regular season home winning streak over Eastern Conference opponents to 12 straight, their longest such streak since winning 15 straight from 11/12/1996 – 2/12/1997,. It is also the longest active streak in the NBA.
For the first time this season, Atlanta scored 30-or-more in all four quarters.
Atlanta had four players score in double digits. Trae Young and John Collins led the team in scoring 23 points. Young added four rebounds, a team-high six assists and one steal in 30 minutes of action, Collins finished with 23 points, three rebounds, three assists and a season-high tying two steals in 31 minutes of action. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela put up 20 points each to round out the scoring efforts.
