Georgia State (3-3, 2-3 Sun Belt) tied the program record for points against an FBS opponent as the Panthers reached 52 points for the second time this season and fourth time over the last two years.
“What a great win for our football team, the way we opened up the game and took control,” head coach Shawn Elliott said. “So many times you can take wins for granted, but you’ve got to enjoy them and understand that it’s tough to do. ULM made a valiant effort to try to get back in the game, but we responded and came out with a nice win.
Georgia State plays its next two games on the road, beginning next Saturday at Appalachian State (2:30 p.m. on ESPN+).
