On Saturday Atlanta United fell 2-1 to D.C. United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Jon Gallagher scored his fourth goal of the season and Brooks Lennon recorded his third assist.
In the end it wasn’t enough to stop Gelmin Rivas from scoring the game-winning goal
for D.C.
“I think just in terms of the game tonight it’s a huge disappointment. We managed to fight and get ourselves back on level terms after going behind undeservedly in my opinion.” said Stephen Glass. “But I think we are well aware it gives our playoff hopes a knock, massively, but there are still nine points to play for. The aim is to get as many as we can.”
Up Next: Atlanta United (5-11-4, 19 points) returns to action Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Orlando City SC 7:30 p.m.
