It was announced today that the Atlanta Falcons have signed cornerback D.J. White and defensive tackle Chris Slayton to the practice squad.
Originally selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Georgia Tech, White has appeared in 14 games with 14 total tackles (13 solo) and two quarterback hits for the Chiefs, Colts and Falcons.
Slayton, who was originally selected by the New York Giants in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft, spent most of the 2019 season on the Giants practice squad and has not appeared in an NFL game.
The Falcons will host roughly 500 friends, family and associates for their home game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, September 27.
