COLLEGE PARK – The College Park Skyhawks were looking to win back-to-back games against the Canton Charge.
The Skyhawks had a tough loss, they fell 100-110. College Park, 4-5, won’t face Canton again until February.
“We beat them by 30 yesterday and loss by ten today. You gotta just forget about this one quick and get on to the next one,” said head coach Noel Gillespie.
The game was even for both teams most of the game. College Park ended the second quarter with a two-point lead, 16 fast breaks, and 15 bench points.
The Skyhawks’ focus was to win each quarter. They won the first, tied the second and lost the third which caused them the game down the stretch.
Canton tightened up their defensive and the Skyhawks didn’t have an answer.
“We didn’t come out with the same energy that we had last night. We have to be consistent,” said Mark Ogden Jr.
