At the post game presser, Head Coach Lloyd Pierce said, “We didn’t have it in the first half for some reason, but it was good to see the fight in the third quarter and most of the fourth quarter. It takes a lot to come back when you’re down 18. It takes a lot of energy and a lot of effort.

After the game, Trae Young said, “I think the positive is that we fought. I think we had to fight too much to get back in the game. That’s something that we’ve got to be better at is coming out with a better energy and playing the way we did the third quarter.”
