Three Atlanta Dream players finished in double figures.Brittney Sykes, the team’s leading scorer, finished with a team-high 15 points off the bench. Nia Coffey pitched in 11 points and Jessica Breland added 10 points and nine rebounds.
After the game Head Coach Nicki Collen spoke on bouncing back from Las Vegas Ace, “We just have to keep battling together, and we can’t get frustrated. Frustration is, in some ways, an inward, selfish emotion that we have to give out. When we’re not playing well, we have to lift someone else up. I’m excited to see where the conversation we just had, where it takes us because I think it was pretty real, obviously, a little emotional, but I just still think we have all the right pieces to win games in this league and that we have to guard people and trust that we’re going to step up and make shots.”
