Jeremy Lin led with the top score of 23 points, Trae Young 14 points and Kent Bazemore 14 points.

After the game, we caught up with coach Lloyd Pierce.  When asked, “In this loss has he seen improvement with the team?” Pierce replied, “It’s hard too, it’s hard to find that. We know what we can do. You look at our stat sheets and take our stat sheet out.  It looks pretty good with 66 points in the paint, how many fast break points we had we shoot over 45 percent. So you know things are there when we play well we gotta figure out how to do it on a defensive end and that’s the toughest job we are having right now.”

The Hawks are now (2-6). Next up, Miami Heat on Saturday November 3, 2018 at State Farm Arena.
