The Atlanta Hawks are setting the tone for a full-on celebration of women across the city, announcing their highly anticipated Ladies Night presented by Your Atlanta Area BMW Centers. The event is set for Saturday, March 28, when the Hawks host the Sacramento Kings inside the award-winning State Farm Arena with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
From the moment fans walk through the doors, the energy will be different. The first 5,000 attendees will receive a complimentary belt bag, adding an extra layer of excitement right out the gate. For those looking to elevate the experience even more, a special pregame mixer will give fans a chance to connect and kick off the night in style before the action begins.
The Hawks are also making sure the night reaches an even broader audience, with Telemundo Atlanta set to simulcast the game, bringing the celebration to Spanish-speaking fans across the region.
But this night is about more than just basketball—it’s about Atlanta culture taking center stage.
At halftime, Atlanta’s own YKNiece will light up the court. Fresh off major momentum—including over 73 million streams from her breakout on “Whim Whamiee”—she continues to build her name with collaborations alongside Bunna B and Metro Boomin. After selling out her hometown show at Buckhead Theatre and gearing up for a performance at Rolling Loud Orlando this May, this moment feels right on time.
“As an Atlanta native, performing at halftime for the Hawks is a dream come true,” YKNiece said. “I am excited to represent my city on Ladies Night.”
The vibes won’t stop there. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and in-game host Shamea Mortonwill co-host the evening alongside her longtime friend Toya Johnson-Rushing, bringing personality and energy that matches the moment.
“Ladies Night is going to be a party for all of Atlanta,” Morton said. “As Atlanta’s best friend, I want to personally invite the city to come join me for what will be a fun and memorable night and to cheer on the Hawks.”
Fans will also get interactive throughout the night with an all-female artist “Name That Tune” experience, while the first 100 fans can tap into their creative side at a hat decoration station set up on the concourse.
In between all the entertainment, the Hawks will shine a spotlight on impact. The She LEADS Class of 2026 will be recognized during a special in-game moment. The program continues to grow as a powerful force in Atlanta, developing early-career women across business, sports, entertainment, STEAM, and entrepreneurship.
Backed by the support of BMW, the night reflects a bigger commitment to empowering women both in the workplace and throughout the community.
Ladies Night isn’t just another game—it’s a full experience. From culture to community to competition, the Hawks are turning March 28 into a celebration that feels uniquely Atlanta
