Hawks Set for Today’s Matchup as Injury Updates Continue

The Atlanta Hawks return to action today as they prepare for a meaningful matchup at State Farm Arena, looking to stay competitive and continue building momentum as the season moves forward.

Atlanta has leaned heavily on its perimeter shooting, recording 10-or-more three-pointers in 35 consecutive games, the fifth-longest active streak in the NBA. The Hawks will look to maintain that rhythm as they take the floor.

The team continues to monitor the progress of two players working their way back from injury.

Center Kristaps Porzingis, who has missed the last five games due to left Achilles tendinitis, is progressing in his recovery and will be re-evaluated in approximately one week.

Forward Zaccharie Risacher, sidelined for the past five games with a left knee bone contusion, is also making progress and will be re-evaluated in approximately one week.

With several players stepping into expanded roles, Atlanta remains focused on execution at both ends of the floor as the team navigates this stretch of the schedule.

Today’s (Monday, January 19) matchup features the MLK Game powered by Georgia Power, with the Milwaukee Bucks coming to town for one of the Hawks’ most anticipated home games of the season at the award-winning State Farm Arena.
