Raptors 905 Roll Past Skyhawks in Home Opener

The College Park Skyhawks (0-1) opened their 2025–26 NBA G League season with a tough road loss, falling 130–94 to Raptors 905 (1-0) Friday night at Paramount Fine Foods Centre.

AJ Lawson paced the 905 with 24 points and a game-high +34 plus/minus, while his two-way play set the tone early and often. Jonathan Mogbo added a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, and guard Chucky Hepburn made an impressive G League debut with 12 points, 10 assists, and five steals.

For College Park, two-way forward Jacob Toppin led the way with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals — his energy keeping the Skyhawks competitive through stretches of the game. Eli Ndiaye followed with 16 points, while Dwight Murray Jr. posted a 15-point, 10-assist double-double of his own.

The Skyhawks struggled to find rhythm on both ends, shooting just 37.6% from the floor and committing 31 turnovers that turned into 39 Toronto points. Raptors 905 shot 55% from the field and connected on 17 three-pointers, pulling away with a dominant 40-point fourth quarter.

Raptors 905 held a 57–41 halftime advantage and never looked back, stretching the lead to as many as 36 in the final period.

The Skyhawks will look to bounce back quickly as they face Raptors 905 again Sunday afternoon, with tip-off set for 2 p.m. in Mississauga.
