Training camp officially opened in Flowery Branch as the Atlanta Falcons reported for Day 1 of the 2025 AT&T Training Camp. With the facility closed to fans, it was a media-only day marked by check-ins, physicals, team meetings, and a renewed sense of anticipation.
Players arrived early to IBM Performance Field, greeted by cameras, mics, and the familiar buzz that signals the start of a new season. From seasoned vets to eager rookies, the mood was focused, professional, and driven.
Bijan Robinson, entering his third season, spoke briefly with reporters about his mindset heading into camp. While he kept the details of his personal goal under wraps, he hinted at the magnitude of what he’s aiming for. “It’s something I think about every day,” he said.
Chris Lindstrom, the Falcons’ NFL Players Association representative, also addressed the media. Voted into the role by his teammates, Lindstrom continues to balance leadership off the field with elite performance on it. The Pro Bowl and All-Pro guard was recently named the top interior offensive lineman in the league by the Associated Press.
When asked what Falcons football means to him, Lindstrom spoke with pride and urgency:
“I think there’s immense pride, and with that comes a responsibility to our fan base. We know the expectation is to make the playoffs and compete — and that’s something I want to be part of, and I know this team does too. We’re going to play fast, especially up front — fast, physical, and with purpose.”
The atmosphere was serious—but not without a few light-hearted moments. Kyle Pitts jokingly slow-strutted himself in front of the cameras upon arrival, drawing laughs from teammates and media alike. It was a reminder that while the stakes are high, this group is loose, confident, and connected.
Quarterbacks arrived with quiet confidence. Defensive players brought a noticeable edge. There were familiar faces, handshakes, and laughs—but also a clear sense of urgency. This team knows the stakes heading into 2025.
While Day 1 didn’t feature any on-field work, it set the tone for what’s ahead: full team meetings, playbook installs, and a first glimpse at how new additions—on the roster and coaching staff—will mesh with returning leaders.
Up Next- The Falcons will hold their first official practice in front of a sold-out crowd on Thursday, July 24 at 9:30 a.m. at IBM Performance Field, followed by another sold-out session on Saturday, July 26 — a clear indication of the excitement building around this team.
