Falcons Sign RB Jashaun Corbin, Release Jase McClellan

The Atlanta Falcons have added depth to their backfield, announcing the signing of running back Jashaun Corbin. In a corresponding roster move, the team has released rookie running back Jase McClellan.

Corbin, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State in 2022, was originally signed by the New York Giants. He appeared in six games for the Giants during the 2023 season, contributing primarily on special teams.

Most recently, the Rockledge, Florida native played for the San Antonio Brahmas of the United Football League (UFL) in 2025. Corbin impressed during his time with the Brahmas, rushing for 522 yards and four touchdowns on 97 carries across 10 games. He also showcased his versatility with 18 receptions for 138 receiving yards.

With Corbin’s addition, the Falcons bolster their running back unit as training camp approaches. His professional experience and recent production in the UFL give Atlanta another option to evaluate in the lead-up to the 2025 season.

Meanwhile, McClellan, an undrafted rookie out of Alabama, departs after signing with Atlanta earlier this offseason.
